For my part, I'm doing "Activities". This part consists the information activities that can carry out at island, example snorkelling, diving, swimming, floating, tracking and etc.
Below are the information I wan to use in my Assignment 3 .
Diving
Diving in Pulau Payar will be a great experience. Pulau Payar is a marine park, so in marine park, it mean we are not allowed to stay on Payar Island. There are 15 different dive sites at Pulau Payar Marine Park for the certified divers to enjoy. Divers are ferried to these dive sites by our specially designed dive boats. The most popular dive sites being Coral Garden, Sunken Boat Point, Grouper Farm, Sponge Reef, Lembu Rocks, Shark Point, House Reef – where there is a good presentation of marine fauna and marine species of barracudas, groupers, snappers, lion fishes, stone fishes, seahorses, sweetlips, angelfishes, butterfly fishes, parrot fishes, wrasses, etc. Discover Scuba Dives (or Introductory Dives) for beginners are available to all non-certified divers. They will be given a brief lesson prior to going underwater on a hand-held basis on one-on-one where the non-certified are able to enjoy their first experience underwater.
Snorkeling
Being members of Greenfins, the park practices no fins policy for snorkellers to avoid damage to the marine and coral life. Snorkellers are provided complimentary use of snorkelling equipment – mask, snorkel tube and life-jacket. All snorkellers are required to wear life-jackets during their snorkelling activities. The House reef boasts of rich marine life – butterfly fishes, parrot fishes, groupers, lion fish, moray eels and meet Mr Mustaffa our resident giant barracuda under the jetty. Swim with the baby black-tip sharks on the beach front.
Swimming
Underwater Observation Chamber is the closest encounter a landlubber can have with the world below.Coral Langkawi also offers glass-bottom boat rides to selected sites of coral gardens, a platform for introductory course in wading deck for swimming.
Floating
Floating Reef Platform is designed for those who does not want to wet their bodies but still want to enjoy the marine life here. It is a platform called Coral Langkawi which is moored off Pulau Payar. Measuring 49 m by 15 m. It has a tunnel shape chamber at the bottom of the platform 10 feet below the sea. There are also boats which have glass bottom for you to see the marine life and corals as you move along the carol gardens. This platform is also equipped with a snack bar, a dining area and a sunbathing area.
Tracking
Two tracking trails have also been made available for visitors to explore the flora and fauna of the island. These tracks appear to be underutilized as few visitors are even aware of their existence.
Picnicking
Visitor can carry picnic at here. Amenities provided include picnic tables, barbecue pits, gazebos, and restrooms at strategic points. Visitor can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding sea and beyond.
Seashells
Various seashells, shellfishes and slugs that are scattered all over the seabed complete the wonderful underwater vista. There is a sense of calm amidst the hustle and bustle of life in the water. The tranquil surface belies the teeming life below.

Tools used:
1. For the icon "Activity" edit by Photoshop software with the tool which named "adjustment -curves" to adjust the colour.
2. Use the "Quick Selection tools" to cut the selected image and use "move tools" to move it to anew page with background transparent.
3. Use the "type tools" to key in the word which "activity" and change the colour to "Purple" then save it with "PNG" file to keep the background transparent.
4. For the others image , i used "adjustment- curves", " adjustment- exposure" to adjust the colour effects and use "type tool" to key in the text and use - "Spot Healing Brush Tool" to edit the image.
For the flash part, it consists of 3 software which are Adobe Media encoder, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Flash. We use the Adobe Media Encoder to convert MP4 to F4V, so it can use in Adobe After Effects, then I used the Adobe After Effects to rotate the video with the " Rotation Tools" (Ctrl+ Shift + R) and "composition setting" (Ctrl + K ) to change the size. After that, I'm using the "Effect- Keying- Colour range" to remove the green background color. Then I export the file with XFL format.
In addition, I'm using the F6 to insert the key frame, import the file to library for later use. Edit the document size in properties - size. I use the "Free transform tools" to adjust the image or video size,i use the "Text Tools" to key in the word and use "3D Rotation Tool" to make the Text become 3D effect with create motion tween. After that, i saved the file to swf.
For the Dreamweaver part, I change the tittle to "activity" I also change the link colour by using page peroperties- link and change the word colour with "highlight the word and right click-font and add to new CSS rules- Double click on CSS style to edit the word". It make the link with at the properties. Insert-Media-SWF to add the flash into the page. Insert-form-text field/ text area/check box to create the feedback form format and I insert the image with (Ctrl + Alt + I) .

Individual Report (Pulau Payar)
After doing this project and assignments 1 and 2, I had understand and improve a lot of experience about digital media simple but not basic notes teaches by lecture like sound, graphic, image and adobe software like photoshop, dreamweaver and flash. Besides that, I also improved more knowledge about blogger, because usually I didn’t create and use logger in my life. This is the potential scenarios and some of the types of activities that can be supported with digital media. In furthermore, I also understand the environment and activities that can carry in Pulau Payar Marine Park.
Doing any subject’s project or assignment also will face few problems. For this project, the problem we faced is some of us are lack of experience and knowledge about some tools from the adobe software. We try to solve it by using E-book that ours tutor uploaded in MMLS. Besides that, some of us can’t find more detail of information that we need to use in this project. So, we try to helping each other to find more detail information that needed. We also faced some communication problem which my leader need inform us which task we assigned to do, meeting about this project and so on. Due to us not staying together, it is hard to pick up time to conduct a meeting, so my leader tries to post the announcement on facebook and nowadays, everyone also had their own facebook. This is one of the communication ways when we doing this project and this are the good way to solve the time problem and make us easier.
In differently next time, I hope I can design more creative website than now. I also will keep improve what I had done right now. With a creative website, it can attract more users visit your website. We can try to add some flash or some games in the website, so that it won’t so bore when users visit the website. My motivation level was strong when doing this project because I think everything I doing will give me experience and improving my knowledge and creative level. I put all my effort into this project because it is interesting by design a website which I never did before.
In addition, working through with those group members is good enough because all my group members complete the task punctually and no conflict between us. My group leader divide task equally and help each other as well. Group leader play a very role in this project. He guide us how to do this project so that we can finish this project on time and smoothly. We also have a discussion before we plan to put n something new into this project, so that every member agreed before we proceed it. Furthermore, we have a very good tutorial group leader, he leading us how to do the whole project and he also created a group in facebook to upload some announcement or any updates, so that we can completed the project on time and smoothly.
The working on the project is quite smooth. Group leader had divide each member a task, for example I’m assigned to do the “activities” part in the website, I have to find out all the information and design this part, so that we can complete this project on time. By doing this project, I also faced some problem such as not so clearly about the information that the tutor teaches us, so sometimes it may delay my work because I need ask for help from my leader and members also.
In previously, I had updated my blog which searching pictures and information through online about the activities that can carry in Pulau Payar Marine Park. My teammates all played a very good roles and very punctual hands up their work. It was no conflict between us. My team leader is a very good team leader who is so responsibility on this project. He will guide us how to do it and teach us if there were any mistakes or error in the project.
Last but not least, my personal evaluation is I still have to put more effort for doing the website because it will be the first time, so it wills not much good enough. Besides that, I need more understanding the project because I feel not so understand when I’m doing this project. I’m glad that I have a good group members, all of them are very helpful, try to help me solved the problem when I’m facing problem.
