Concept of Project
The concept of this project is about how do we promote Pulau Payar to tourism of Malaysia and promote to whole world internet site. To let every people know about Pulau Payar’s information and the place of nature. Besides that, it is bringing out an enjoyable feeling to the customer; let them enjoy the unpolluted island far away from the city, far away from the stressful job, so that every one of us can connect with the natural in Pulau Payar.
Our group’s name is Apple. In our group, there are five members which are Tan Kun Hang, Siew Mun Kin, Tuen Jia Wei, Chong Shun Yi, Foo Siang Tee and Tan Kun Hang will be our group leader in this project.
Theme of Project
In this project, our theme is island, so we are choosing blue and purple to be the main colour with clean and simple to conform our assignment title – Pulau Payar (island), purpose is to provide the person whose visit our pages feel cozy, comfort and enjoy, feels like visit the destination point.
Objective
The objective of the project is create an attractive website to attract people click in the website have a browse thru the website and understand the island of Pulau Payar and let them have all the information about Pulau Payar in the website. It also a colorful and relax able feeling on this website let the people who visit in this website have a kind of feeling can feel strongly wanted to go Pulau Payar have their holiday and distress their life at the island.

Milestones
Milestones of this project, until now, we still manage to achieve what lecture want. Week 2 start our work on blog proposal and group leader divide task to us to do our own part task and finding related information write on the blog. Until week 4 had submit our proposal project to lecture for initial approach. Then on week 5 and 6, we do part of proposal design and write it on blog and doing continually next progress of proposal. Week 7 and 8, we are creating a website and doing the design using photoshop of the pictures; dreamweaver creating website; after effects creating the flash video (flx) and after that process it by flash. We design it well as what lecture require. Week 10, submitted to lecture and check our blog. But yet to achieve what had lecture want. So, lecture giving us more time to redo the part until week 12. Lastly, week 13, we have to submit the whole website, group report and individual report to our tutorial’s group leader and tutorial’s group leader will submit it to the lecture.
Group meeting
By doing this project, we also conducted few meeting through face-to-face meeting, meeting through MSN and facebook group too. During this meeting, we have discussed few matters such as provide some ideas how we design a creative website, what information we should put into the website and other.
For the 1st meeting, location is in the library; we are discussing about the blog update and work division. We are design the story board and divide the individual task for each member.
In the 2nd meeting which is online meeting via facebook, is because of the blog is no meet the requirement of lecturer, so we need to redo it. The problem is we need to create the new pages for each group members and update again the blog that we are updated wrongly previously in our own blog, not group blog.
In the 3rd meeting, the place is in one of our group member’s house, we are discussing about the shooting problem with green background wall, and the actor’s line. We are facing the place problem and we come out the idea which is using the green paper to stick at the wall be our background and use the adobe after effects to edit it before process in adobe flash. Besides that, we also facing the software installation problem, because adobe after effects is required window 7 64 bits but all of us is using 32 bits, so we need to reformat 1 of the group member computer and finally we are success to install and complete the work by using adobe after effect.
When faced some problem, we also will conducted a meeting and try to find out the solution to solve it. For example, after our lecture, Dr. Ken had checked our group blog and give an assessment to out blog, and we found out there have something that we didn’t put into the blog and found out the grade is not good for us. For this situation, we find out the solution to solve it after conducted the meeting.

assigned to do “home page” of the website. This section will consist of five sub-links for the customers to view more details of information
About us - Tan Kun Hang
assigned to do “about us” of the website. This section will consists the information of our website’s services such as event, history, how to get the travel place and etc.
Activities - Siew Mun Kin
assigned to do “activities” of the website. It tells the tourists the activities can carry out at the island, example snorkeling, diving, swimming and etc. Each of the activities got their details of information and pictures.
News - Tuen Jia Wei
assigned to do “news” of the website. This section will provide the latest news or promotion on Pulau Payar. It also provides weather prediction for all tourists available when to visit Pulau Payar. He is doing task of promotion part site and finding information from internet and found that some agent provide nice recommended price for tourist and Pulau Payar offers reasonable price for tourist.
Poll - Foo Siang Tee
assigned to do “poll” of the website. This section will be known as voting. Customers will vote for their favorite service, example photographic of the entertainment section. Besides that, it included sign up and login tool for the user to create an account for their voting process.
Email - All Members
provides the user to leave down their comment and feedback.
